Program Benefits

PG&E offers substantial incentives for enrolling in either a one-year or three-year HVAC Optimization Service Agreement. These incentives are offered to help offset the incremental cost of the upgraded Optimization agreement and additional incentives are paid to the contractor to service the units to the ANSI/ASHRAE/ACCA Standard 180 QM Standard.

Customer Incentives

When a building reaches baseline, the customer will receive up to a total of $3,836 per unit based on the unit’s size, age, and presence of an economizer. Payments for Gold Tier units are made three times over the course of the three-year agreement term (twice, over one year for Silver Tier) based on the following schedule:

When units are brought to a baseline:

Customers who switch from a “service only when needed” plan to the Programs predictive maintenance, can save up to $500/year/unit* in operating, servicing and repair costs.

Even customers who operate with a regular “check-based” plan could save up to $260/year/unit*.
